The C.P. Smith PTO is not simply about monthly meetings or fundraising. Each year, the CP Smith PTO fosters its mission by “directly enhancing the education and social experience of all students.”

The PTO is instrumental is offering events, activities and resources fro the C.P Smith community including:

■ Back to School BBQ for all students, families and staff
■ First Annual Science Fair
■ Funding each classroom with $12.00 per student for fieldtrips. (Approximately $3,360.00)
■ International Potluck Dinner
■ Maintaining the C.P. Smith Flowerbeds
■ Mini Grants to all CP Smith staff members making a request in support of a variety of wonderful activities and events in support of our kids. 

This is just a sample of what was offered. We apologize for not listing every offering and not individually recognizing those who made these events/activities possible.

The PTO is able to offer this support  through the generous support of C.P. Smith’s volunteers who include faculty, staff, students and families. Some of the events that funded these efforts were:

Our volunteers participate in many, many different ways – attendance at monthly meetings, baking cookies for a class party, helping the photographer on Picture Day, cooking hotdogs for the Annual BBQ, cutting Box Tops off of groceries, grading papers in the classroom, . . .We look forward to whatever help you are able to offer in the coming year!
